Siming Shan is famous in China as the “China Maple Tree Town” and “China Sakura Town”. In the opening ceremony, the people from Yuyao elderly university will sing some folk songs. Activities include couples shouting for love, climbing hills, picking cherry blossoms for your lovers, floating for free, BBQ party, bonfire party, and activities for unmarried young people.

The public is invited to AIAN’s celebration of Earth Day. This day is held around the globe to heighten the environmental awareness and the efforts of our community to go green. Nursery to grade 12 will participate in the activities.

The Olympic torch route as published in the magazine has been changed by security officials! Please see the attached map for details.

The starting time is 8am, Monday, May 19th. The route will start
behind Golden Center shopping mall and then down Zhongshan Lu all the way to Wangjing Lu (near the Xin Xing Hotel). Then, proceeding north past Central Gardens, the torch goes across the Jiefang bridge and then up Huaishu Lu toward the Grand Theatre, arriving at 12 noon.

The South Korea Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1997. The 70-member Popular Orchestra plays 14 charity concert performances and 60 tour dates each year. Under director Sun-yong Choi, the orchestra has performed in a large number of ballet and opera performances as accompaniment, and has a reputation as the best accompaniment orchestra.
