The Ningbo Ferry Terminal offers direct travel to Putuoshan Island or Peach Blossom Island. Board a bus at their location north of the Art Museum, and travel to Daxie Island. There, board a ferry to your destination. The whole trip takes 2.5 hours and costs ¥70. Runs every 15-40 minutes from 5:45am until 3:35pm.

Even if you take taxis every day, a time will come when you will be stuck in the rain at 5pm with no taxis in sight, and the bus will start to look like a really good idea.
