The sports center inside the Xinxing Hotel has many activities available at a low price. It has a popular indoor basketball court on the 5th floor. This court is full of adult basketball amateurs, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Usually, you can find a few international players there as well. Drinks are quite expensive here, but they will allow drinks brought in from outside. They also provide table tennis (ping pong), badminton, an outdoor pool, and outdoor tennis courts.

Dong Ying Billiards Club is the center of pool in Ningbo. The 1,000 square-meter, 26-table club is the biggest pool hall in town. A lot of loyal amateurs gather here, and the club often holds pool competitions. The coach Wang is a national snooker champion in China. Many women also play here. There are four 9-ball tables, twelve 8-ball tables, and ten snooker tables, as well as a special table for tournaments. Four computers are also available for internet browsing. Dong Ying Billiards Club is part owned by the famous Chinese snooker player Ding Jun Hui.

Fubang Stadium has a standard soccer field which has held many national soccer competitions. It will be the home field for a new professional soccer club this year, and it is also open to the public. Some Koreans play soccer at this field on weekends.

Youngor Gymnasium is the home court of Ningbo Bayi Rockets basketball team of the Chinese Basketball Association. When the CBA is not in season, the gym is open to the public. November to March is basketball season, and April to October is the off-season. There are 4,552 seats and the gym is fully equipped for basketball. However, the locker room and showers are not open. Outside Youngor gymnasium, there are also 2 full courts and 6 half courts, and these are all free and open from morning till night.
