You leave from the East Bus Station. They stop pretty early, about 6pm or so. It's cheap but it takes about an hour to get there, as opposed to a taxi which takes half the time. You can also wait outside Carrefour, there are taxis which will fill up with 4 people and then go to Beilun.

any one got a list of the various buses between the two (ningbo & beilun) and where they service... like to & from carrefour, metro... the yinzhou university area etc. since there are more than one bus lines between beilun and ningbo it would be useful to know the different routes that each line covers... especially past places/points of interest...

Hi, there,For anyone new to China or any expat who doesn't know Ningbo well, you can refer to the information of a public transportation website. It's www.ddmap.com which includes most major cities i business and tourism cities in China,especially the cities which are located along the east coastline. On the top of the website, there is an icon from where you can switch from one city to another. I think it's use-friendly and easy to understand. But it's pity that they don't have English version on the website. Hope the information is helpful to your life in China.
