Gekiuma Ramen is a noodle shop from Japan. They serve ramen noodle soup, and also Japanese fast food such as gyoza, tempura, and curry rice. Ramen costs ¥16 - ¥24, and is as authentic as you can find in China. The menu has pictures, so you can point and choose. The location on Cao Hong Bei Lu is across the street from the Sheraton Ningbo Hotel, and is in a row next to many other quick restaurants. A good place for a fast lunch or late-night snack.

There is a new one now, in Gugo , next to KFC and Bread Talk... quite nice. I've been there twice and have not been disappointed

Ajisen Ramen

Yes, there is a very similar noodle, japanese-type food in Gugo. The food is better than Gekiuma Ramen near the Sheraton. The interior is relatively trendy, but is much busier than Gekiuma Ramen and finding a seat can be tough during the lunch/dinner rush. It is a few kuai more per dish compared with Gekiuma Ramen, but definitely one of the better places to eat around Tian Yi square.

I frequent both restaurants regularly, love them both, but wish the Gekiuma Ramen would serve lemon water or cold tea during the summer like Ajisen Ramen does, instead of a steaming hot cup of tea. 

I definitely think this place should be added to the list sometime in the future when someone has the chance to take some pics
