Feast Modern Restaurant serves Ningbo cusine, Cantonese cusine, and a bit of Western food in a beautiful, restored 200-year-old Qing dynasty house. The luxurious decor inside uses a 1930s Shanghai theme with chandeliers, candelabra, and elaborate place settings. The food is as good as the lovely woodwork. However, the prices are moderate, from ¥18 - ¥48 per dish. The location is in northern Jiangbei district, close to the Yuyao river. Enjoy a walk along the riverside park after your meal, or take a taxi to nearby Lao Waitan for an after-dinner drink.
