Wanda Plaza is Ningbo's first and only true shopping mall. Unlike Tian Yi Square, Wanda Plaza will be familiar to Westerners with its indoor shopping, variety of stores, and easy floor plan. It is planned that this area will become a second city center in Ningbo. Wanda World (not yet completed) refers to the entire development, including hotels, office buildings, and luxury apartments. Wanda Plaza is the shopping section. This mall really moves Ningbo into the modern age. However, don't expect to use your foreign credit card at most of the stores. On a recent visit, the mall still didn't have a foreign ATM, either.

There are over 100 stores in Wanda Plaza. This is the best place in Ningbo to shop for housewares - there are B&Q, HOLA, and SHE-BD stores for everything you need. A Wal-Mart is also open, but there are few imported goods, and it is more like an ordinary Chinese grocery store.
