If you travel to Ningbo infrequently, you might find that some of your old favorites have closed or moved. Here is a list of places that are no longer open.

• Ala Bar - this longtime favorite closed in January 2008, but there are plenty of other clubs in Century Plaza to choose from.
• MCD - Music Century Club closed in January 2006. 
• Station Two - Difficult to find, this dance club wasn't too popular.
• Carmen Bar - moved one block and became Legends.
• The Embassy - The same owner now has Shamrock in Lao Waitan.
• Cheers - This longtime favorite closed in January 2005 due to poor business.
• Jackbar - now Seven Club is open in the same location.
• Bar 11 - across from the East Seaport Hotel. Go to G.G. Pub or Legends instead. A pity, as it had the best storefront ever.
• Anna's - was around the corner from Bar 11. Legends is now open in the same location.
• Beautiful Life - changed its name and became The Embassy.
• J's - this spot was only open for a few months. Go to LBB instead.
• Cozy Bar / After 8 - this comfortable foreigner bar with cute bar girls suffered from a bad location.
