Ningbo's local cuisine is known as "Yong cusine", which specializes in seafood. There are many excellent local seafood restaurants, such as Ningbo Shipu Grand Restaurant and Sunward Fishery Restaurant. You can have an authentic traditional meal for about ¥80 ~ ¥170 per person. However, many cusines from all of China, and all over the world are available. English or picture menus are sometimes available. Coffee shops serve decent food at attractive prices, in addition to a wide selection of coffee. Many street vendors are open until very late in the evening, and people eat at them frequently with no problems. Ningbo's international food is getting better and better these days, more restaurants are offering a much wider selection of food than in years past.
