What should I bring?

Hi all! I am moving to Ningbo from the US next month, plan on living there for a least a year. Is there anything that I shouldn't leave home without?? What should I leave in the US??

 

I was also wondering about tailors, getting clothes made. Any experiences or advice? How good are they? How's the prices, womens' slacks, tops, dresses?

Women's tailors is something we still don't have.  As I'm a man, I can't apply my own experiences.  Despite asking everyone I know multiple times, I still have never received any information about women's tailors in Ningbo.  You can go to the Yipi Wanli fabric market and get clothes made there, but I can't recommend any particular outlet.

one tailor booth in second floor of Lingqiao Square( 灵桥广场 )

I  Brought two foreign friends to there for customizing women's dressing last year ,there are many  clothes and fabric boothes ,some of which can offer tailor service ,too, maybe you can try go there with your chinese friends, if need ,I can try to find which booth was last time we visited .

Got back some details

Well ,I brought some details of booths back .

 The Clothes customized booth of Ling Qiao Square(灵桥广场) located in first and half floor by stair not the Lift,and booth No. is  177.,the contact No. is 13065848119

 The other gain today I found is Next to this booth,one pure-cotton pajama made booth situated in No.180,one foreign friend customizing some pajama I met there this afternoon,the contact No. is 13003780183

Surely ,this place is  common spot to make clothes ,not much graceful ,but the price as well not very expensive ,and  chinese-speaking only.

Thanks for checking for me! I will make sure to stop by. I am not at all familiar with Ningbo, so please forgive me, but is Ling Qiao Square a shopping mall or market? Will a taxi know where it is? And will the booth numbers be posted?

it is just a common market,located

 it is just a common market,located in busy center of Ningbo city ,local famous here ,we call it" Ling qiao guang chang" in chinese ,the No. of booth is over the head ,not hard to find .
