Why people hates Chinese?

Why people hates Chinese?

I was exploring youtube.com and watching the videos for Shichuan earth quake, but I cannot believe that some people are quite happy because Chinese people are dying. They defiantly hate Chinese.

Not speaking of this even, I am sure they are little and inhuman at all. But in general, is it truth that general public, I mean most people outside of China does not like Chinese? They do not like Chinese gov or China as a country or simply Chinese people?

When people are talking we are suffering from China communist party, but at least I think I am happy with it. When people are trying to free Tibet, when I reached there, I found Tibet people are living in a much better conditions than others outside of Tibet, I mean other provinces in china. When people say there are too many problems in china, yes but we are improving every day.  When people are complaining Chinese are dumping goods to their country and they are not willing to pay even 10 cents more when they are buying from china. (if you are doing trade, you will agree with me)

Well, I don’t know it is suitable to discuss this topic in here or not…..  By the way, I am Chinese.

Youtube stuff

I humbly recommend you not to take all those youtube stuff seriously. Anyone can post anything on youtube unfettered. There is no mechanism to scruntinise and delete each and every posting out of thousands every minute. Even you can edit and post a video that mocks the US and post on the youtube, no problem.

I don't think that you

I don't think that you should judge the outside world by anonymous comments on YouTube.

And if China will truly join the world community, then China must prepare to receive criticism.  Now, Chinese people cannot accept criticism.  This criticism is perceived as hate (it is not).  The solution is dialogue and conversation, but these days I only hear "shut up, you may not say anything."

Yes, I know that. Internet

Yes, I know that. Internet makes people too easy to say anything, but in the contrast, it reflects their very first idea, isn't it?

Yes, it looks like that. I

Yes, it looks like that. I agree that Chinese really not used to receive criticism. Probably, it is the culture difference. But you can imagine, China had been closed for thousands years, and when we prepared and smile to outside world. No one say welcome, but just throw a bunch of criticism, and how do you feel? Does it mean that people under democracy world are used to criticize?Well, I agree with you, Chinese are very sensitive when it comes to their indignity, especially the country’s indignity. It is probably a kind of complete different feeling about country, which you hold. It could be also a mark from thousands years of “brain wash”

No one say welcome, but

No one say welcome, but just throw a bunch of criticism, and how do you feel?

This is how the outside world works.  It has always been like this.  It didn't change because China opened itself.  You should see the horrible things that they say about America.  But do Americans care?  No, because we know their opinions are worthless.  Now, China is open, and China gets the same treatment as every other nation.  Welcome to the outside world!

Hey ,there are bad apples

Hey ,there are bad apples everywhere so that we can ignore those stupid wpeople. There are also many people hate americans due to the iraq war,so I guess it's the same thing:)

People have different thoughts and levels of education which means no two humans would think exactly the same towards one thing even between siblings.

We will meet all kinds of people like you or dislike you that means you will definitely receive compliments or criticim along with your growth and so is China.

Take it easy and learn to accept all the things Smiling)

"Smiling to the world"

"China had been closed for thousands years, and when we prepared and smile to outside world. No one say welcome, but just throw a bunch of criticism, and how do you feel?"

Em not much smiling going on in Darfur and Myanmar and no doubt the same in Tibet! Perhaps the cause rather than the effect should be something that is considered more.

Pride and Prejudice

Dear Rock,

I recommend you to make some friends from expats circle, exchange your ideas with them, hear them or try to explain your opinions. The more you mixed with different cultures, the more you will see that there are many different ideas and views and no one particularly hate China. You may also travel to othere countries and interchange with them. Otherwise, you will be treating the same China vs. world topic in this forum under different id's for many years to come.

Does it matter? Was General Public British?

Does it even matter if the general public doesn't like Chinese?  Most of the general public don't like me, and I'm ok with it.  Then they found out I have blue eyes, and now I can't keep the general public off me!  What if the general public loves the Chinese?  Does that matter?

If you don't like that the general public doesn't like you, change.  If you don't care what the general public says, don't change.  Its basically that easy.  If the general public loves you, you can still change like Britney Spears for the better. (yes, i like Britney better now.... she became my superstar once she made Toxic)  Or don't change.  Nothing lasts forever, as with public opinion.  Its always changing..... as I always change my mind.

General Public will love you one day and not the next.  Besides, who is the general public.  I've never met them.

Wait, wasn't General Public a famous 80's band with a white and black guy?  They put out some good tunes.  Where they British?

Dear Rock,I recommend

Hey thanks. But I think I got to end up with this topic before it goes too far to be a "treat". Actually, I understand the situation now, as I was reading from the topic for that " Gay" discussion.

Good luck in China~

Initially, the reason which
