Bus Maps
We know that it’s sometimes a pain to take the bus. We hope that these pages will shed some light on the situation. Ningbo has a staggeringly huge bus system for its millions of people to use. These few maps show some of the more useful bus lines. Just follow the purple dots to your destination. Even if you take taxis every day, a time will come when you will be stuck in the rain at 5pm with no taxis in sight, and the bus will start to look like a really good idea.
These maps aren’t 100% accurate, but we did our best. Unfortunately, much of the bus route information is contradictory or outdated. This is the best information that is available. Bus schedules change according to the season and road construction, and according to the whim of the bus company. However, the main routes seldom change, and that’s what we have here.

Is it possible to get (actual) maps of the bus routes? Maybe where you buy the bus cards? Has anyone done this?
I live in the north part of Ningbo (cut off of your maps actually) somewhat near Auchan, and I am trying to figure out the local buses.
Any suggestions? I tryed the Ningbo gov website, no help there.
There are no bus maps. There is only a timetable, and the latest one published is out of date. We'll try to add more maps here in the future (it would help if someone would mark the stops) but until then, you're on your own! Welcome to Ningbo!

You can view the bus schedules at http://www.nbgj.net/ but they're all in Chinese, and might not be updated to reflect the current actual schedule.
