Does anyone know a new bike-rent service around west lake tour spot of hangzhou?

I plan to visit hangzhou next later week,the news I heard before said there is a new bike-rent service available around west lake of hangzhou city ,it seems very clean environment and urge us do more exercise ,and  news mentioned deposit perhaps will be charged ,for during half hour returning bike can take free, reach to 90 minutes 1RMB per hour ,over two hours should pay 2RMB per hour,you can return bike in any rent spot of  urban.

Does anyone try this service yet,how about the bike's quality ,does it ride comfortably?Smile

bike rental

Was in Hangzhou over the weekend & saw the bike rentals in several places. Don't know the details, but my girlfriend told me the deposit is 300 RMB!

The bikes are new & seem very clean.

But if you want to do exercise then you should walk, anyway. Walking burns more energy than biking, AFAIK.

Another question is whether a visit to HZ is worth it. Visited it for the 2nd time now (the 1st was in winter & the weather was very bad) & still think that it's highly overrated.

Best thing is that you can buy German wholemeal rye bread at Carrefour (although it's quite expensive & not good quality).
