"the great firewall of china" strikes again, maybe?

the net has had major issues for the past month to six weeks, though the past fortnight the net has  increased both upload and downloads speeds, and websights that had been unaccessible at that time or fraught with DNS's have been accessible again. that said however i noted that this past weekend several websights have again not been obtainable from within china. this is the result of the censors doing their job (ie. the great chinese firewall). there are ways around this if you know how to use VPN or a proxy..

the speeds though have been better of late.

Welcome to China.  The internet speed to the ouside world is restricted to make it less attractive.  You will notice that websites inside China are lightning-fast.

great china gov! i think they are doing good thing.

If i were china gov, i'm gonna cut off the internet for those who are interested in tease, and try their best to put dark hue on china untill they get out of china.

how come then I can't see pictures of my nieces and nephews due to blog sites being blocked, yeah, GREAT JOB!

I agree, every country should be more like North Korea and isolate themselves from the world and from all foreign and domestic news that is less than positive. Then the world would be a better place.

For another article that tries to paint a "dark hue"...I have attached the recent piece "Chinese Good Samaritan Saves Lives". A story about a Nanjing resident who tries to save would be suicides. Like a great share of the foreign news stories written on China, it is written by a Chinese journalist.
