Earthquake Relief Charity Event!

Crowne Plaza City Center Ningbo, Ningbo's premier meeting place and Ningbo Guide, Ningbo's most powerful English media, have organized a charity event on Friday, May 16 at 6pm. The venue will be "BBQ Tonight", in the courtyard of Crowne Plaza City Center Ningbo at 129 Yaohang Jie. Food, beverages and entertainment will be provided at the venue at ¥100 per person.

The goal of the event is to consolidate Ningbo's business
community's financial support in response to the Earthquake disaster. 100% of proceeds from this event will be donated to charity. The Ningbo city government has sanctioned this event and will attend.

Ningbo Power Bureau launches new English website

The Ningbo Jiangdong Power Supply Bureau of the State Grid Corporation of China has launched its new English-langauge website. This useful, easy-to-read site includes such information as the rolling blackout schedule, Q&A, a 24 hour service hotline, and much more.  However, the "check your bill online" part is still under construction.
