Clams are the specialty of Changjie Town. The government holds the Clam Festival every year to further enhance the visibility of Changjie brand and to develop the seafood products and promote the vigorous development of tourism economy. On April 8th, they will hold a clam cooking competition, and from April 9th there will be a food festival and clam harvesting competition in 5 different hotels. The gold award winner will cook in the festival.
