2008 Ningbo Haishu Shopping Festival

The festival is organized by Haishu District Party Committee and Haishu District Government. The activities of the festival consist of 10 categories. The opening performance, the fashion shopping July 25 to August 3, the fashion show in Hualiang Department store, and Dongfang Department Store.
For the festival, hotels, restaurants in Haishu will favor the customers with their special and new dishes.
From July 25 to August 3, fairs of famous brand automobiles and furniture will be open on the Tianyi Square and other places.

An exhibition of Ningbo-style furniture. Ningbo furniture contains many cultures, such as the Silk Road culture. From the perspective of wood, it uses mahogany, rosewood, Ju wood, beech, Mu Wu wood, five types of wood to make beds, implying “flourishing in the five generations” (in Chinese, tree and generation have the same pronunciation ).
